Webinar Dynamics of Metro Communities and Youth: Implications for Metro Programming
July 11, 2012
9:30-11:00 AM Central
In the ballgame of life, it is helpful to know the characteristics of the players on the other team. In working with youth, especially in the metro areas, it can take that and something much more.
During this webinar, highlights of findings on current research on metro areas and youth will be discussed. Utilizing theoretical framework as a lens, the group will look at how understanding the underpinnings of these areas can impact and shape programming.

Dear Colleague,
The Illinois 4-H Shooting Sports program is growing at a very rapid pace, and I have had the opportunity to discuss many county programs with a number of you during the past 2+ years. While individual conversations are important, it is time to collect some statewide data about our Illinois 4-H Shooting Sports program. Thus, we need your assistance.
1) Your Perspective is Important – We want to learn from you the status of the Shooting Sports program in your county and assistance you need to advance the program and/or enhance impact. Please have the STAFF PERSON most knowledgeable about the Shooting Sports program in your county complete this survey by June 20th – http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Staff4HSS12
2) Enable and Encourage your Shooting Sports Volunteers to Share Their Perspective – On approximately June 5, I will be emailing all Shooting Sports Volunteers to invite them to complete an online survey, (Via Survey Monkey). A few may be stopping by your office to complete the survey if they do not have computer access of their own. If you wish to view the survey for the volunteers it can be found at: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Vol4HSS12 .We Need Your Help Confirming that Volunteers Receiving Training are Also Being Screened and Entered into DMS.
